Bombay Kitchen is a beloved Indian restaurant in Osaka known for its rich curries, tandoori grills, and authentic flavors from North and South India. The goal was to give their growing brand a modern digital identity — one that captures the warmth of Indian hospitality while appealing to Japan’s design-conscious audience.

Japian Studio was entrusted to redesign the website, refine their brand visuals, and ensure the experience felt fresh, welcoming, and authentic.

🎨 Creative Direction

We aimed for a fusion of culture and clarity — bright colors inspired by Indian spices paired with the elegant simplicity of Japanese layout design.
Soft vector illustrations, subtle textures, and high-quality food photography were used to evoke appetite and authenticity.

Typography was kept minimal to maintain Japanese readability while highlighting the vibrancy of Indian cuisine. The responsive layout ensures a flawless browsing experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop.

🍽️ Design Concept

The design reflects the sensory journey of Indian food — aromatic, vibrant, and emotional.
Every section was crafted to make visitors feel the essence of India, from the subtle smoke in tandoor photography to warm saffron gradients resembling spice trails.
