International Day of Yoga 2025 – Outdoor Event at Expo Arena, Osaka

🧘‍♀️ Project Overview

To celebrate the 11th International Day of Yoga, the Consulate General of India, Osaka-Kobe, in collaboration with the Embassy of India Tokyo, Ministry of AYUSH, ITPO, and Osaka Expo 2025, organized a spectacular outdoor yoga session at Expo Arena.

Japian Studio was the official creative and event management partner, leading the project’s branding, design, print production, digital promotion, on-site coordination, and media coverage.

Our goal was to reflect the global theme —
“Yoga for One Earth, One Family, One Future.”
Through design and experience, we sought to unite Japan and India under a shared message of wellness, peace, and cultural harmony.

🎨 Creative Vision & Branding

Japian’s design team developed a cohesive visual identity that blended India’s spiritual energy with Japan’s aesthetic simplicity.
The creative palette featured saffron, blue, and green, representing vitality, peace, and balance — all central to yoga’s essence.

We created:

Event banner, backdrops, and stage visuals
T-shirts and merchandise for participants
Posters and printed materials distributed across Kansai
Video and social media graphics promoting the event

The design aligned with Expo 2025 Osaka’s global theme, using clean geometric layouts and symbolic yoga illustrations that resonated with both Japanese and Indian audiences.

🎤 Event Execution

Over 1,000 participants gathered on the green lawns of Expo Arena, transforming the space into a sea of harmony and movement.

The session was led by certified yoga instructors, with participants of all ages — families, students, and professionals — joining to celebrate the spirit of unity and wellness.
